I ordered two Ettermæle prints, and both arrived quickly. The quality is impressive, and they fit perfectly in the frames I had bought. I recommend them to anyone who wants beautiful art of family and friends on their wall.

I will be ordering more prints. The first portrait of Even and Brage turned out beautifully. My plan now is to create a gallery wall with several pictures. A tip if you want to frame them yourself: Clas Ohlson has very nice frames in real wood that fit perfectly. 👌

I took a picture of an old photograph of my grandfather and me from over 50 years ago, and the result was incredible. He is no longer with us, but the portrait I had made has become the most beautiful memory in our home. Heartfelt thanks!!

The portrait arrived in a rigid cardboard envelope after five days, and the quality is very high. The phone support was friendly and helpful when I had a few questions. I will be ordering more, perhaps a very large one for the wall above the stairs to the second floor, as we discussed on the phone.

Our story

A family portrait holds a story worth keeping.

Becoming a parent changes the way we see time. Everyday moments take on a deeper meaning, and the wish to preserve them grows stronger.

Among the thousands of photographs we keep, a few hold the people and moments we could never replace. We believe they deserve a lasting place in our homes.

A family portrait preserves a moment in time for the generations that follow us.

We created Ettermæle to preserve those memories in portraits that become part of a family’s story, treasured today and passed on in years to come.
